A succulent Plum and Gin Clootie Dumpling fresh from the Clootie McToot HQ to enjoy all year round.
Local Perthshire plums are delicious, but cooked plums soaked in gin are a whole different ball game!
The slight tartness of their sticky crimson juice makes them the prefect pairing with the sweet bramble gin from our local distillery.
Serve hot with custard, cream, ice cream, or on a cheese board with some wonderfully crumbly cheddars.

INGREDIENTS: Sultanas, Plums (13.3%), Sugar, Self Raising Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin,
Raising Agents [Disodium Diphosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate]), Vegetable Suet (Sustainable Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil, Wheat Flour), Breadcrumbs (Wheat Flour, Yeast), Free Range Egg, Prunes, Apple, Gin (1.4%), Orange Zest, Mixed Spice (Cinnamon, Coriander, Nutmeg, Clove, Pimento, Ginger), Nutmeg.

Storage, Serving & Cooking
STORAGE:
Store cool and dry out of direct sunlight. Store within an airtight container after opening in the fridge and use within 3 days. Freeze on day of purchase for up to 6 months.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This dumpling is fully cooked and may be eaten hot or cold. For best results serve warm. Remove from vacuum packaging and slice to desired size.
Place on a microwaveable plate and heat for 40 -50 seconds on high at 800w. (typically for 100g slice).
Fry for a few minutes in butter, turning once.
Oven:Wrap in foil and place on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 160°c for 10-12 minutes.
